Research Interests
Our research focuses on the morphology, anatomy, systematics and evolution of extinct vascular plants from the Devonian geological period. Current projects involve the description of fossil floras from Maine and the provinces of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, Canada. Emphasis is on the discovery and description of fossil plant species belonging to the rhyniophytes, zosterophylls, trimerophytes and progymnosperms.
